Before Itqan
Every productivity app I tried treated Qur'an and prayer as afterthoughts. Nothing connected the deen with the to-do list. So we built it.
Every productivity app treats faith as an afterthought — Qur'an memorisation in one app, prayer in another, goals and habits in a third. People carry a whole life in scattered, loud apps that all compete for the same tired attention, with streaks to defend and badges to chase. And the part that matters most — time with the Qur'an, the rhythm of the day's prayers — sits outside all of it, in yet another app that knows nothing about the rest of their life.

Project You is live at projectyou.app — one quiet home for a whole life, and the first to treat the deen as a first-class citizen rather than a side widget. Two hand-tuned themes, day and night, led by one breathing orb of light, backed by a versioned in-repo design system. A private beta with invitations rolling out — and proof that the Itqan way, a brand kit and a design system shipped with the product, works on our own products before we sell it.
What we shipped
Our first build was 'Aurora' — premium, executive, and a little cold. Exactly the wrong feeling for an app you open at 6am on the day you've fallen behind. So we kept the engineering and swapped the soul: Noor — نور, light. Same code, warmer heart, framed around the moment the day begins at first light.
